Apologies for missing the post yesterday. Work decided to interrupt happy fun Internet time with one of the most convoluted plan revisions I've ever gone through. It's still not quite done, but the powers that be aren't around and I only want to do it once. Hence, time to post.
While working through the issue I listened to
New Order's Substance for about five hours. I think it did something to my brain. I'm listenting to Mouse on Mars today. I don't think that's going to help any.
Twister was on HBO last night. Possibly one of the funniest unintentionally funny movies ever. It's just so, so bad.
Drive My Car- If you've got a Tivo and you ever go to the front menu page (Tivo Central or whatever it is that they call it) you might see an ad notice for the new X5. I highly recommend you click on it and record the infomercial. Not because the new X5 rocks or anything (hint: it does not rock), but the infomercial is actually a 30 minute mini-documentary on the Nurburgring. They only spend maybe 3-4 minutes talking about the X5. Very cool.
- In other BMW news, it appears that they put that sweet twin turbo engine in their cute little 1-Series. Also? It should arrive stateside as a 2008 model.
I Love The 80s- The 'definitive' top 20 shows of the 80s. What, no Nightboat?
- I didn't have an Apple II, but my neighbors did. And they had the greatest game ever Mystrey House! (for the time, right in front of that detective game. The name of which is currently escaping me. There was driving. And dark houses... Not Carmen Sandiego... Anyway..) Hours upon hours were wasted trying to figure out what kind of syntax would actually work with the damn game.

I pity the fool.
