Work is so boring that it hurts right now. Nothing much is going on with my new account and the old account is pretty much all wrapped up. Pretty much. The client seems to be devising new and interesting ways to revise the plans in small, yet fantastically labor intensive ways.
The Girl sold her house last night. So, yay for that. My prediction of the final selling price was within $1000 ($900 actually), so good on me and my market forecasting skills. -.25% is a pretty good margin of error. And with that, I think I’ve given out enough information to calculate the selling price. Post in the comments if you care to do the math. Winner gets a cookie1.
The Ass Ends of Teh Internets
Like the government of Illinois, it appears that the Internet has taken Casmir Pulaski day off.
- Sometimes guest author Faems really, really likes ESPN's Uniwatch. His analysis: "ESPN generally sucks at everything. But Uni Watch is the exception that proves the rule." Aside: I was laying on my couch yestday, nursing what wasn't so much a hangover as it was a mild coma, surfing for good napping TV. I came across the Busch Series race on ESPN. Only the commentary, ticker and everything else were in Spanish and the branding was ESPN Deportes. This confused me for a second until I remembered that this was the 2nd annual Mexico City race (again: mild coma like state). The English feed was on ESPN2. Two things struck me as odd about this arrangement - First, that ESPN would put the Spanish language stuff on the flagship channel. Second was that, even though I could only understand the Driver names and the positions, the Spanish language coverage was about 1000% times better than the coverage in my native tongue.
