I may have shit-talked the suburbs a bit yesterday, but one thing that I can't complain about is the customer service at the Bolingbrook Lowe's. Every CS person we dealt with knew where everything was in the store. Couple that with extensive knowledge of their designated area's of expertise and you have the recipe for a very enjoyable big box hardware store experience.
On the minus side of the column, the management company of my condo is being less than helpful in resolving a few questions that the buyer had regarding some structural elements of the building. Apparently there is a remote possibility of a special assessment in the TBD future and he's kind of freaking out about it. Stupid thorough house inspector. You're just supposed to make sure the appliances work and that there are no mice, not analyze the structural integrity of the building. Also: Dear Mr Buyer - The building is over 100 years old. Expect the unexpected. Truly, - Seller.
