Wedding is t-minus three weeks and I'm starting to FREAK THE FUCK OUT. There are so many last minute details to work out. Of course had we been on our game they would have been taken care of long ago.

Today the Internets Suck

I hope to never, ever need to use this service - Real time web database on Chicago car towings (including plate #s). Isn't technology amazing?
Visualizing portions makes dieting so much easier. That's why the whole 'sold by weight, not by volume' is such a scam. Anyway here's some healthy snacks that should fill you up. The snack snaps are definitely in contrast to Time's What the World Eats photo essay.
Like Bose, Monster cable is for suckers. An editorial (feature?) on Gizmodo tries to debunk that theory (kinda). All they really end up saying is that if you're going in-wall with your cables, future proof as much as possible. I give that a resounding 'duh'.
All I can say is "Please?" - DirecTV might get back in bed with Tivo
If I never, ever go there again I'll be ok with that - Legendary Chicago venue First Midwest Bank Ampitheater (nee "The World", nee "Tweeter Center") looks like it might bite the dust.

I gleaned 2 things from my conversation with the guy; (1) a ridiculous proportion of users are experiencing at least one problem (>85%) and (2) at least half had specifically asked to get TiVo back (unaided response).
