Saturday night prompted me with quite the dilemma. After sending a tequila infused Girl off to bed, I sat down on the basement couch and flipped on the teevee. As usual I immediately scanned down to the HD channels. I don' t know why I do this as the HD channels routinely suck ass. Seriously, how much HD drag racing does ESPN2 expect me to watch? Shit is on all of the time. Sometimes all of the drag racing, off brand reruns and some of the most questionable first run content known to man makes me question my electronics investment (but then I turn on my 360 and all is well with the world). But all of that changed on Saturday. On Saturday I had to choose between watching Escape From New York (Kurt Russell!) and Starship Troopers (Michael Ironside!) in HD. There are harder choices in life, but few are more important.
It cost $73.67 for my mechanic to fix my car. I'll take that over DIY any day of the week.
