As may or may not have been noted yesterday (I'm too lazy to look), The Girl was out of town last night. I guess I've gotten used to the cohabitation thing rather quickly as I found it eerily silent around the house last night. And that was with me blasting the Cubs game (ack) and Gears of War all evening long.
The Simpsons Movie debuts today. If I wasn't getting on a plane in three hours I would so be there. Here's a spoiler free review.

- It doesn't look like I'll be able to get my hands on one of those Mercedes A Class mini cars anytime soon, but the B-Class might coming to the US sooner rather than later. Too bad it looks like a 3/4 scale minivan. (Warning: Link goes to slightly dry Bloomberg story)
- It's been a long time since I got caught doing 107 MPH down Interstate 55 in my old purple Subaru (about 12 years actually). Considering I had a recently purchased 'tobacco water pipe' in the trunk the excessive speeding might not have been the best idea I've ever had. Surprisingly enough the cop took pity on me and didn't lock me up then and there for reckless driving. He even let me sit in the fron seat of his cruiser while he wrote me up (it was cold outside). - This rather facinates me - "The Items We Carry" Flickr group. What do I carry? Depends on where I'm going but my typical loadout includes: Keys (separated into a car/bike ring and a housekey ring. Kept together by a mini carabineer), Wallet, Cellphone, Work ID, MP3 Player / Nintendo DS. Wow that was unexciting.
