What happens when your faithful editor goes down south to a party at The Girl's brother's house? He drinks about five beers, ends up on a 50CC Honda and, after a few beers, promptly crashes it into said BiL's porch. Keep in mind the crash occurred only after BiL warned me that first gear was, in his words 'pretty torquey'. 'Pretty torquey' apparently stands for 'will flip you on your ass if you even breath on the throttle' because that's exactly what it did. So, being the brilliant mind that I am, I decided to start it in third gear. Given the size of his yard (~150 yards of straightaway) gave me enough time to get the thing up to 40-45mph. What I didn't realize was that the bike apparently had dish sponges for brakes. I crashed spectacularly. Thankfully the only injury was a minor contusion to my left calf. And the requisite wounded pride I guess.
Halo 3 comes out tomorrow. Even if you don't know what that means, I'm sure you've heard about it by now anyway.
A bunch of shows premiere tonight. How I Met Your Mother, Chuck and Heroes are probably your best bets.
