For those that are interested TB.com had over 15,000 page views and nearly 4,000 unique hits since we started tracking things in June.  Traffic is up month over month and according to Google the top four keywords in '06 were:

1. Tehblogs

2. drmorley

3. tehblogs politics

4. Wendy Faems (The Wendy Faems tag got more hits than the Paris Hilton pictures.)

It gives me great pleasure to announce that 47% of all visitors were using Firefox, 46% were using IE and Safari made up the rest.  If you're still using IE  you need to switch.  Firefox 2.0 is the shit.  Get it now!

6% of you were running OS X while the rest were running XP/2000.  I expect that to change dramatically over the course of '07 as the Apple marketing campaign hits its stride.

I have been getting spam in my chris at faems dot com account with Wendy Faems as part of the subject.  I am wondering how she became such a meme all of a sudden.  I am going to try to keep her grounded in reality.  Fame (or is it Faems?) like this is fleeting.

Out of curiosity, is the SPAM making it into your inbox or are you looking through your Spam folder?  I checked the logs and you're putting up some pretty solid numbers in the SPAM department.  CloudMark and the rest of the anti-SPAM community has been having a tough time filtering this new wave of .gif SPAM.  

it's making it to my inbox.  it reached a highpoint last week but has definitely ebbed this week.

I keep pretty close wraps on my address.  the whois registry has my garbage account as the contact email.  wendy has only given her address to friends and family.  Perhaps it's all Eleanor's fault.

The new .gif spam is making it into my inbox too and the only people with the DM.net email address are you guys and some nice people from Nigeria.

So what are the updates?  In theory I co-run this site and it's the first I've heard of anything.

And when was Wendy used as a tag?

 CS v. 3.0 is due sometime in the next few weeks and will include:

The last two updates aren't part of v.3.0, but is something I'm having developed for a side project.  Hopefully they'll be done in time so I can incorporate them when I update the site.  Software development is like a drug deal though...shit never goes as planned.

Keep tabs on the .gif SPAM and if you can please put it in its own folder.  I've got to send Cloudmark a .pst file with all the spam so they can take a look at it.  If you fools knew how to use Exchange in conjunction with a VPN you could actually just send me the .pst file directly.
